How to start communicating - short rewind to early 2020: Back then, before i started in military intelligence i had a major problem: I'm an introvert. I decompress when i'm alone, far away from other human beings. But fortune led me to human intelligence, a occupation that mainly revolves on speaking with humans. Its hard to learn how to lead a conversation, ask the right questions, memorize information, when you're not yet comfortable speaking with humans in general. What did i do? I've started out with ask strangers on the streets for their restaurant recommendations, for directions, for information instead of using my phone and hit google maps. I started to get a routine of just start talking to people around me. Over time I became a decent communicator. Over those conversations, becoming more and more common, i learned a lot about how people actually behave and interact with each other. With this observations i learned also how communicate right w them. And than HUMINT Training started...

What i've learned on DEGENNIVERSARY in Wrocław as non-tech guy (unpopular opinion): It was a great experience! @samuellhuber.eth helped me out with my first baby-steps in the industry. One thing i noticed, with every conversion i had and every talk i listened to - is the same as i already preach here on warpcast. Guys and girls, you need to find a way to communicate! I saw a lot of ppl that could talk for hours about UX, Backends, automation and so on, but only very few people were able to explain WHAT THEY ARE ACTUALLY DOING to me, without trying to explain me the tech behind it first and foremost. If you are a developer and want to stay in your space, with your ppl, you can stop reading by now. If you are a entrepeneur, owner, ceo or any kind of businessman... Learn to explain your mysterious and complex tech-world to dummies. (And in this case, dummy is everyone, without web3 background) I don't care about your Backend. And investors won't too. LEARN TO COMMUNICATE WHAT YOU DO, NOT HOW YOU DO.

Technical excellence is something, a lot of you guys already have. Look (virtually) around you. You're on a hub, full of people with technical excellence. To stand out, learn how to: -Present your ideas. -Lead conversations. -Build trust through clear communication That is the difference between clients, partners and the public seeing you as "excellent techie" or "a real entrepreneur". I'm not saying, its more important to talk than to work. But I am saying, that the talking part is as important as the work part. Wanna try out presenting ideas? Tell us what you're on for this week!

People tell me, "But I’m not a people person." Neither were half of the ppl in Human Intelligence Training. (And neither i was, tbh.) You don't have to love people to understand them. Learn the skill, not the sentiment. For sure, not everyone needs the spotlight as much as @samuellhuber.eth, but you should't avoid it, and than ask yourself later "Why does nobody care for what i've done?" That's the reason why you should go out there. That's why you should get a better communicator in your private life That's why you should get a great communicator for business
