Mmm venison chili! Recently started adding small amounts of organ meat to our diet and 12/10 recommend. Super high in protein and honestly they're like nature's multivitamin. A, B6, B12, copper, iron and so many more vitamins that are typically harder to get through diet

That's a great Madison. Coming from Albania, eating organ meats like hearts, liver, and intestines was a normal part of our diet. One thing I noticed after moving abroad is that meat in my country was often sold in butcher shops rather than supermarkets(although that's changing now.) I think that being familiar with the whole animal, including the organs, made us less picky about what we ate too.

i grew up hunting so we had a heavier game and local butcher market, now as i move through cities i don’t know how i’d incorporate these things into the diet without excessive work and cost. struggle to trust local cattle markets while traveling so frequently.. i wonder if i.e chinese food is the best occasional fill-in for these.. though i’ve also been trying not to overdo red meat lately
