Made Za’atar crusted halloumi wraps with shawarma fries for dinner last night. Homemade tzatziki and garlic sauce are an obvious must. Greek salad can’t be ignored.

I kinda freestyle it but: Get a block of halloumi, drain and squeeze the liquid. set it on its side and cut it down the middle, then cut into quarters so you have rectangular chunks. Throw a bunch of za’atar on a plate and coat the pieces. Cook in olive oil (or w/e you prefer) till browned on each side. Tzatziki is just cucumber, fresh dill, plain Greek yogurt, and salt. I blend it because I like a more watery consistency for drizzling. Greek salad: 1 cucumber diced 1 tomato diced 1/2 a red onion diced Chopped fresh dill Salt, pepper, olive oil, and balsamic glaze to taste Butter the pita and toast it in the oven. Throw some lettuce down on the pita and place the ingredients on top as you see fit. Wrap it up in foil so nothing falls out while you eat. Lmk if you try it!
