The market doesn’t seem to accept OP is Base’s token. When Jesse was on Bloomberg recently, even Mike Novogratz asked multiple times when Base will launch a token.

Are people just cynical about the relationship between Base <> Optimism? 

What am I missing?

Most people I know think that Base will launch their token in 2-3 yrs. Wdyt?

The securities / regulation hurdles and risk are just waaay to high.

I'm generally pretty bearish when folks talk about the need for another token (memes are exceptions obviously lol)

I also don't think most understand OP token utility

Yea first step is separating from Coinbase, long term with hacks and rug pulls it's too risky for them to be tied too close.

Then a token drop, probably make it used for decentralized sequencing too.
