Base

The market doesn’t seem to accept OP is Base’s token. When Jesse was on Bloomberg recently, even Mike Novogratz asked multiple times when Base will launch a token.

Are people just cynical about the relationship between Base <> Optimism? 

What am I missing?

Most people I know think that Base will launch their token in 2-3 yrs. Wdyt?

Yea first step is separating from Coinbase, long term with hacks and rug pulls it's too risky for them to be tied too close.

Then a token drop, probably make it used for decentralized sequencing too.
