Why hasn’t the use of NFTs for event tickets caught on? Seems like a no brainer? I haven’t looked into it that much

I think we need mobile wallets that are easy to use for non-crypto natives. Otherwise they have to jump through the UX hoops, on-ramp etc.

It's somehow true but there are ways around it. For example unless they're going to "trade" the NFT users don't really need a proper wallet.
