Is this a hot take or does everyone secretly agree:

I think crypto will ultimately power the future of traditional finance in a more efficient way but with similar regulations. 

I’m less optimistic that it will act as a decentralized alternative at scale.

how hot is your take that coordination will not outpace subordination, in this framing?

I think traditional finance adoption at scale has an obvious advantage of large numbers whereas decentralized coordination relies on necessity and ideology.

so, if you had to gauge the chance of a preference cascade   from the incumbent culture, do you see the short-term possibility of anything that would change your mind longterm?

Something like the 2008 financial crisis probably (which is always possible)
