Began watching The Handmaid’s Tale this wkd. It’s very well done and Elizabeth Moss is goated 🐐

But… it’s *so* harrowing, how did y’all watch this? I’m 4 episodes in — does it get any easier?

It also reminded me how cruel we currently are to dairy cows. The way we treat animals inevitably reflects in how we treat each other

It felt more allegorical and less like a documentary when it premiered.

Yeah the authoritarianism is hitting harder, though IRL feels more corporatist and less statist (different bad)
