it’s really cool that this app uses the verb “cast,” short for broadcast even before radio, the word “broadcast” was used to describe a quick method of sowing seeds, which is not too far from what this is hoping to grow this into something fruitful

Interesting! Also makes me think of ‘cast’ actors for a show & casting a shadow Apparently the word comes from an original meaning of ’the form something takes after it has been thrown/sent’ Welcome!
