I think as more and more people become jaded with academia, they’ll come to relearn how great the ARPA model has been for building the shit we need small, flexible administration getting to the crux of the issue without the need to return an immediate monetary profit

recently, my biggest regrets have been working on the wrong projects/projects with the wrong people still learning how to gracefully exit these traps, but some advice: - don’t work for billionaires - do a quick background check before starting big collaborations - vibes > prestige, always

language is so expressive but I think a lot of speakers/writers (myself included) don’t leverage its full magnanimity, its gravitas, its power to be so precise at capturing an idea in both content and feeling at a moment’s notice—I yearn for that kind of mastery

it’s really cool that this app uses the verb “cast,” short for broadcast even before radio, the word “broadcast” was used to describe a quick method of sowing seeds, which is not too far from what this is hoping to grow this into something fruitful
