itā€™s really cool that this app uses the verb ā€œcast,ā€ short for broadcast even before radio, the word ā€œbroadcastā€ was used to describe a quick method of sowing seeds, which is not too far from what this is hoping to grow this into something fruitful

Yes, cast is such a good word. That meaning and also others: Like casting a spell. Or a structure that supports and heals, like an arm cast. Or to search widely for something, as in casting about. Or a cast of actors in a play.
