I asked Kathleen this when I met her at Web Summit (Tezos are my startups lead investor, I run an art focused magazine, and have interviewed many big tez artists) She said they focused on intentionality and not pursuing hype, which aligned with the part of the NFT crowd that had same values. And they backed each other

I disagree with people saying fees. I don't think it is a sufficient reason, and I think even with much higher fees, Tez would still have won this narrative
