Ya, it's prob due to over-protectiveness of the software consultancy space. What do the Big 3 in management or the Big 4 in accounting firms know about software? 😛

I think it’s this and then even more I think particularly Gergely from Prag Eng and many others sees the immense contribution of software to the world as in part a product of the existing way SWEs work. Hacker centric cultures are very much part of this, not McKinsey, and thus worth protecting for the world’s sake
