Yeah I’m sure he is rational and smart and can calculate his interests 

But that’s my point

(Plenty of good reasons to be on FC too: high signal audience, ability to grow quickly since less saturation, etc)

I understand why he’s not here!

Wouldn’t necessarily make sense to invest in a new community – he’s trying to grow his existing audience so Twitter x Substack is a combination that works for him

yeah i anticipated the difference and agree on the second part

my logic was if you thought FC was gonna be the next big thing then that would imply it's worth building up an audience

ie: using FC as top-of-funnel strategy for Generalist, rather than personal use

very bullish on FC but more as a student of these businesses than a user 

know myself well enough by now to understand that it's a bit of an anti-goal for me to spend more time on social media

I suspect the time I do spend will be increasingly on FC though
