I mourn the loss of decorum At one point, the society was functional and decorous. As we became dysfunctional, we used decorum as a veneer to hide the ugliness Now it's mask off, and everyone from the beggar to the king speaks and behaves in a vulgar manner It signals a further fall until we find grace once again

Seen some comments say it’s cyclical. That’s an understandable logic, but it’s also relevant that there’s a non-violent revolution underway in the US right now, and traditional institutions are being replaced across the West. The challenging elites do not feel like they owe those incumbents any respect, and that is why they don’t operate with respect in public, which is the elites’ stage.
