fwiw, i've actually never worked in the US, only in Asia (JP, KR, VN) and Europe (DE, FR)

Thoughts on the Europe / Asia differences?

biggest difference (mind you this >15 years ago 😱) is colleagues in jp & kr were highly team oriented and aimed for efficiency as a unit (everyone stays until the work is considered finished)

in france, i feel less sense of unity and work is merely a formality, which is fair but comes at the expense of efficiency
