Firmly believe that cars peaked in the early 2000's Now, you're just buying a surveillance device with a bunch of unnecessary gadgets built in ("wow everything's computer") And longevity is likely to be worse -- I doubt any of these bargain bin EVs will last 20-30 years

large part of the reason I was still driving a 2004 subaru forester up until a little over a year ago — until my wife insisted it was time to retire it ... we ended up selling it to our next-door neigbhbor, so i still see it every day 😆
