My book arrived today, called Microseasons - a slow living guide to the year following through the traditional Japanese calendar. This is a well needed slowdown in a tumultuous and challenging time.

Today I noticed that hawks were back in town with fierce talons.

It's a wonderful book. I just learned about the 26 Japanese seasons and it sort of blew my mind. I thought, I have to have this in my life. ♥️

So far I love it! Each chapter gives a description of the micro-season and suggests small activities to do during that time. It feels like a little bit of magic 🪄

I was looking for a book to slow down a lil bit so I’m gonna surely buy this book lol
