The biggest muscle I've been training is to be genuinely happy for other people's success. It's so easy to get jealous or to feel like you could do better or a ton of other negative emotions or reactions. At the end of the day people winning helps you win too. Stay positive and it will always come back to you.

if im honest with myself, this is one of the hardest for me. there is like this existential grasping to inner criticism that arises from the constant comparison with others. if they succeed, i see my failures. not their success. it is great to read that im not the only one. how do you practically train this muscle?

I’m not OP but I did it by internalizing new narratives. I used to think “oh they don’t deserve that,” or “they got lucky”. Now I tell myself, “wow I’m so happy for them!” At first it feels like you are lying to yourself, but the more you do it, the more it becomes true, and you actually feel happy
