I've been having knee issues and today in physical therapy they used this band that inflated to reduce blood circulation in my thigh and then had me do leg workouts. Prob the most uncomfortable workout I've ever had to do, didn't realize depriving the knee of oxygen helped it recover

Pain with squat type movement, basically anything loading the knee. Have been working on strengthening everything else in PT and that fixed it for awhile but then pain came back recently since I've been putting a lot of strain on it. Tried this method for the first time

hm. i’ve had luck with stretching my IT band with a foam roller. not sure if you’ve tried that but it’s very common for that area to tighten up when you’re doing cyclic exercises with progressive overhead
