One of the founders (in his 50s) I worked for always used the eggplant 🍆 emoji. He was dropping it on community members' posts in discord. I had to tell him what it meant. It was an uncomfortable conversation 🤣 He thought it just meant "good" Me: "I don't think we should use that emoji with new female members of the project" Him: "Yeah I can see that now"

at my previous job, we had “BHAGs” and my new grad corporate brain unintentionally remembered it as “big hairy ass goal” instead of “big hairy audacious goal” Only realized it the moment I said it out loud with the straightest face ever at a meeting 🤦🏻♀️ Whole team gasped and broke out in laughter 😂😂😂
