What’s your hottest take about venture funding?

A lot of "famous" loud VCs just got lucky with one deal - they knew someone, happened to be right place right time, etc and are actually bad investors as a whole but they ride that wave and it eventually self fulfills that good founders reach out to them *because* they invested in X success and they get another hit
