3/3 One powerful story for each day of the month📖 Children’s books should be protected. Representation in literature matters. By ensuring kids have access to diverse stories, we promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in education. America’s history is a tapestry woven by many hands—let’s honor and teach it fully. ❤️Tag a parent, teacher, or librarian who loves sharing history with kids! 🌍✨

📚✨ Black History is American History ✨📚 DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) and heritage months have been criticized recently. As a librarian, celebrating heritages throughout the year is a way to promote groups that historically have been swept aside in political, economical, and social stages. It’s a way to encourage empathy and understanding: bringing people together.🕊️These celebrations are not a ploy to lessen anyone else’s importance. In fact, it’s meant to let everyone know how important they are. 🫶🏻 1/3
