1/ The Variant team had a great time at Farcon 2024! It was awesome to meet and hang out with so many amazing builders and see how the Farcaster ecosystem is taking shape. Here are a few of our main takeaways from the event, and what we think it says about the state of the ecosystem in 2024:

3/ At the client level, competition is heating up, with more founders building apps that cater to diverse user needs and preferences (media-centric to transaction-centric, to others). 6/ It was great to hear directly from the Farcaster team (@dwr.eth and @v) about their vision for the platform over the coming year. We’re excited to see them doubling down on crypto natives, focusing on the things that traditional social can’t do.
