Pricing everything is the problem Endless growth requires turning everything into a market, which has a commoditizing effect — the river no longer has a life, it’s an input into the Nestlé plant Ironically we lose the most valuable things because we’re so hellbent on pricing them

I agree with this. Love the river example. River is full of life. If it can be reduced to a single price it becomes an object which can be sold. Not to go too crazy but maybe even looking back we will look at ourselves as performing some sort of slave trade pricing all these living things like animals, forests, rivers etc
