A boy has got his 100k followers LinkedIn banned and the LinkedIn even disclose the reason why. I know that this guy is kinda cheating with AI content, by the point is — it could be anything else, and the platform wont tell u. Thats why we need decentralized media. We need clarity and transparency in the rules of the platform. So it will be take or leave it. Running a media business and stay independent now is hard. But the ways are: 1) build a website and host it. 2) run a newsletter. You own the audience. Thats crucial. And u can leave. 3) sign up for web3 social media

let's talk about some of the weaknesses of farcaster: 1. there are huge power laws to follower distribution based on if you were here early 2. a lot of followers seem not to be real or are totally inactive 3. a lot of content and conversation is crypto heavy 4. there's much financialization of interactions what else?

I think youre trying to monetize Supercast too early. As I thought about actively posting on Farcaster, I want to see the benefits of it first, then add powerful tools to enhance productivity. I did the same with Linkedin, Telegram and other platforms. Feeling the taste of outreach, audience feedback is crucial, before investing in content production. Just saying. I was discovering interesting clients for Farcaster.

How will u atract other audiences to Farcaster, excluding degens, cuz not everybody interested in that GM sfuff? I like the project in terms of philosophy, features, execution, but I cant read my feed. I understand near 0. I worked in crypto, I understand it, but I dont get the vibe.

Chinese magicians can easily revive ur childhood vibe. There are some portable consoles which support not only game boy, but sega, psp, nintendo games, they work fine and cost up to 100$. Just google Powkiddy. Theyre one of the main manufacturers. If u want a demo version of it, u can download Delta launcher from AltStore (iOS) and try those old games for free right now. U dont need a jailbreak now. Its official.

How do u grow on farcaster? I dont even understand the meaning of GM, but I love the idea of decentralized media and fight against centralized censorship on facebook, instagram and LinkedIn. I understand probably 50% of the feed, by followinf the coolest VCs, but other stuff in crypto, im like “what the hell does it mean…”
