How do I submit my app for Explore?

If you have an app that uses Sign in with Farcaster, a composer action or a frame, you can submit it for listing.

We included a variety of apps, actions and frames for launch, but we know we missed some. So don’t hesitate to submit and ping me via direct cast. We will add a bunch of submissions early next week.

Why are you doing this?
We wanted to showcase and increased visibility for all of the apps building on Farcaster.

Is this a “Farcaster App Store”?
Not really. More of a directory. There is no listing fee (and no plans) and no payments. Apps, actions and frames are also able to work without being listed in Explore and can work on other clients.

How were the initial apps selected?
We casted a bunch of times over the last few weeks looking for examples.

How are the apps ordered?
Manually. We’re hoping to make it more algorithmic and usage-based in the future.

Why wasn’t my app included?
There are a lot of Farcaster apps, actions and frames and we’ve never had them in a single directory. Feel free to submit your app.

Why isn’t it on web yet?
Soon!

I’m looking for a reason to be mad! You must have sinister motives here!

do u envision allowing separate apps to embed a version of their front end right inside warpcast when clicking on the app, instead of it clicking out to a separate front end?

some examples:
>listen to farhouse or tavern room in an in-app browser vs clicking out
>post a photo to zora or rodeo, scroll the zora or rodeo feed, post a video to drakula
>explore open /rounds or even claim rounds rewards directly in-app
>wager on perl
>explore polymarket markets and place wagers

some of this is already possible via frame or composer action, but the feature set is minimal on the above examples so these are some apps i open separately daily bc we don’t have full features via frame/action
