Do design reviews ever benefit from formality?

Seems like lower-stakes, conversational sessions are always more enjoyable for everyone involved and lead to better (and more creative) feedback + ideas

How much of a good crit should be presentation vs. conversation?

Wish/wonder/like is a neat framework! Can definitely see that structure being helpful

Eh, really depends on the team (comfort + trust) and context. Have had great crits (w/designers only and cross-functionally) using a Figjam template.

State stage of design, share in any format. During the share, have the rest of the team leave stickies in 3 buckets: “I wish,” “I wonder,” + “I like.”
