Should a protocol's flagship app have the same name as the protocol? Examples (Protocol / App): Yes: Uniswap / Uniswap, Base / Base Wallet, Hyperliquid / Hyperliquid No: Farcaster / Warpcast, Reservoir / Relay, 0x / Matcha

Relay is the protocol and app, built by Reservoir. Should be in Yes. I think they should have the same name, otherwise it’s just a source of confusion before real adoption

depends on the delta between the protocol and the app uniswap: no delta, the UI is open and the protocol is open, it's all basically the same project base: centralized L2, centralized wallet, tight cohesion between them fc: FC is a protocol but there's no open source reference client, merkel tells people to build their own client all the time, and WC is a billion dollar company that doesn't put all the features on the protocol, there's a huge difference between FC and WC, they should be named differently

Base Wallet isn’t a thing and I feel like Coinbase Wallet isn’t the flagship app on Base ? I like separation

If Warpcast was called farcaster, what would we call farcaster apps?

I’m in the no camp - gives more freedom to do different things without being buried in prior bias
