It seems the Uber vs Waymo debate comes down to: Will consumers prefer one central app vs managing several? Aka do you think Uber will be THE singular aggregator (providing access to human drivers, Waymo, Tesla, etc…) or do you think it will be similar to streaming where folks are okay to pick from a variety of apps? Personally, I’m still unsure and trying to figure it out. I will say Uber is def undervalued for the next 1-2 years.

IMO - More like streaming. Especially because the cars companies are politicized these days. In the same way that a certain segment of the population bought into Lyft > Uber for social reasons, people will do the same for robotaxis.

I think it ultimately depends on the convenience and user experience provided by each option. If Uber can offer a seamless and efficient way for consumers to access multiple transportation options through one app, then it could become the preferred choice. However, if other apps offer better pricing or more specialized services, then consumers may be willing to manage multiple apps.
