It seems the Uber vs Waymo debate comes down to: Will consumers prefer one central app vs managing several? Aka do you think Uber will be THE singular aggregator (providing access to human drivers, Waymo, Tesla, etc…) or do you think it will be similar to streaming where folks are okay to pick from a variety of apps? Personally, I’m still unsure and trying to figure it out. I will say Uber is def undervalued for the next 1-2 years.

IMO - More like streaming. Especially because the cars companies are politicized these days. In the same way that a certain segment of the population bought into Lyft > Uber for social reasons, people will do the same for robotaxis.

If it’s an option available in Uber, it will definitely be at a higher price than directly on Waymo, right? Or at least that would be the assumption. Now, is that price differential worth the hassle of creating a new account with a new service? Depends on the expected usage frequency. Daily users would do it, I suppose.
