I use my apple watch. If you don't have something that tracks your steps, I'm not sure how it would work or does a phone track you? But then you always need your phone with you. Although I guess my phone is mostly with me, or nearby in any case, like if I'm at home or just in the yard.

Does it only count steps? For example, when I do pilates, does it not count for anything? My phone is always with me, but not when I’m doing pilates.

My apple watch will record activity like dance, pilates, yoga, cycling, hiking, walking, martial arts and all types of activities. It also just counts the steps and how many flights of stairs you do. But the moxito app only counts steps so far, but maybe it will record other fitness activities in the future too that it gets from the tracker. But say I'm in a yoga class and my phone is in another room, my watch still tracks it. But that is just for exercise and movement (it also tracks standing and movement). I bought the small apple watch as my arm is small and many other ones were so huge (the watch face) so it looked ridiculous and the band was too big. I also tried at first a really cheap one that was $20 and that was a piece of crap. It ended up breaking. But some are cheaper than apple watch that are good too. I got the cheapest version of it and it was about 2 years ago.
