Trying to wrap my head around this more environmentally minded side of crypto. Refi= Regenerative finance Regen= Regenerative instead of Degenerate Greenpill= podcast and book on refi+regen+public goods Correct? Can you be grey tribe regen? Is regen pro-degrowth? Can you be e/acc regen? Humans are complex. 😅

there is always a place for a degen to have a little regen inside, just get involved in some regen projects that make sense for your, not leaving your degen side bc there are no TOTALLY regen, or TOTALLY degen in the world. As you said humans are complex, and amazing in that complexity

The creators of “degrowth” have really made it difficult on everyone. Yes, regen is part of degrowth for many people, but the latter word should be ditched. The salient part is really the “stationary mode” in “degrowth”, which is not really degrowth, although a finite system cannot be infinite growth…

In a way you sum up the issue with this side of the equation quite well - it is more complex, there's more to figure out, there are more tribes, schools of thought, theory and a lot more nuance associated with it.
