I have the Apple #4 version of an inner monologue. I don't get it when people say they actually "hear" themselves vividly.

guessing you also dont voice the characters in books then? i have a pretty vivid inner voice and i cant help myself from reading books like its a shakespearean play (sorry, im working out this pet theory as we speak)
