Not normally but it can be done as long as the final batter is wet enough. I’d have to experiment with different whey protein brands to figure out the best tasting combo. If you don’t mind heavy whipping cream, you could also make a dark cocoa powder + whey protein whipped cream and eat it together. It tastes 👍

No I haven't tried them! I love baking so I like to bake everything from scratch so I haven't tried a lot of store bought options. That being said, the Hoppy planet foods one looks especially interesting because of the insect protein. Do you recommend them?

I like it! No fake sugar and ingredients are pretty clean. I like that you get 6g of protein per serving. Their chocolate chip one is especially tasty. I’d say in general doesn’t taste like insects to me :) That said I know some people are weirded out by cricket protein, doesn’t bother me.

That's good to know! I'm going to add them to my to-try list. Yeah, I don't have an issue with it either as long as I can't see the insect/cricket as I'm eating it. I have a chili pepper-flavored grasshopper salt from SOS chef - can't tell it's got insects in it either. None of my friends are willing to try it 😂
