life update

just kidn... kinda kid'n

finally wrapped up a major life chapter by selling the last assets of our 55+ year family business. It feels like a bittersweet closure. My father-in-law was one hell of an entrepreneur. He might have dropped out of high school and even ended up in jail for breaking and entering when he was young, but he turned his life around—joining the Army, cutting hair for extra cash, and eventually building a regional chain of hair salons along with his own products. I learned so much from him, and even though he passed away six years ago, his legacy still hits me hard.

He was a rockstar. Top end. Women adored him & he had a way of making everyone feel & look special. Was always fun to hear his stories as he ran with a jet-set crowd. He was the ‘small’ business owner in the group. 

We kept the business going as an option for his grand kids but none were interested. End of an era.

What a fabulous story to always be told in the family!!
