1. How did you discover Farcaster?

A few years ago I was publicly tweeting about a project I was working on, a decentralized alternative to discord (Howler) and the infra to serve it (Quilibrium). Varun saw my tweets, and sent me a DM.

Haha this is cool to see. I sometimes stress over the tone/wording of my cold outreach dms, but they look very much like this.

Come to think of it I’ve received helpful replies every time I’ve reached out to someone on Farcaster. I’ve even made some IRL friends. That’s what makes this place so great. 

At the same time it’s not in my DNA to create a social opening.
