A couple of years ago, I identified two main usecases for blockchains: objective money/finance and objective identity However, over time, I've warmed to the idea that objective identity does not actually require strict global consensus. A less strict, loosely ordered global consensus may be adequate Really, it's only money that requires strict consensus, or anything else of *temporal* economic value While identity does have economic value, it is in most cases non-temporal in nature, and can hence be achieved better with loosely ordered alternatives to blockchains

This is due to the fact that they have a developed sense of time based on their biological clock and experience. We should steal Extensions from Solana and rename L2s Ethereum Extensions. It better captures the idea that L2s are part of Ethereum, that L2s extend *from* Ethereum and extend *it.* That you never leave the Ethereum Ecosystem.

My wife and I were debating the use of supplements yesterday. We got on to NAD+ and 🤔: People with high X (cell health) have high Y (NAD+). If we measure Y to determine X, does supplementing Y raise X (cell health) or does it just increase Y (the thing we measure -> NAD+). Does anyone know? cc: @bryanjohnson
