I find it a bit annoying too, and leaderboards are definitely in my ick quadrant, but not enough to quit @v and @dwr.eth take note... there's probably a cost to this design direction... frames broaden the appeal of the fc network, but tokens narrow it Suggestion... if you MUST use game design models, solve for all 4 quadrants of the bartle test, not just 1 or 2. You're currently solving for achievers and killers. People like kei and myself are more in the explorer or socializer quadrants https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bartle_taxonomy_of_player_types

you can control a lot of this. would try: - removing the rewards frame - muting "$" - disabling trending token notifications

I’m still new to the platform, but at this point I’ve been here a few weeks without really learning what a token or a leaderboard is. I wonder if they’re more visible or prominent in certain apps than others, or within some community networks?

At first I was worried about how I could move up on the leaderboard but I quickly realized that the leaderboard is t that important to me I just like being on forecaster and reading about what everyone is up to or what they are interested in, and I do absolutely love all the different frames hope to learn more…
