I'm not sure how to approach the rest of the decade other than focusing on generating compassion for others and myself. Otherwise it becomes aggression and fear all the way down, contributing substantially to quaking ground and buzzing skies.

“Giving oneself grace” is such an apt phrase.

Having the same discussions with many people and the feeling is the same: focus on being kind to yourself and giving oneself grace. Constant fear and anger will derail any attempts at resetting the path back to extending care.
