Seems pretty simple….. guy neglected the product. Nike stopped innovating and investing in what ppl actually…. buy from them

Never really thought of John as a tech bro as much as a management consultant. Super nice family for whatever that’s worth. JMac has known them for years.

Fashion had been the F word at Nike from day 1 except during Mindy Grossman’s time (2000-06 coincidently when they were my largest client). Remember Nike women & Goddess stores? Phil brought her in from Ralph Lauren then he left in 04 after his son died. Much of her progress was rolled back when she left. Sad. 

I haven’t followed the company closely for a long time. What do you think the strategy is lacking?
