The notifications cause rapid appreciation because people think they are alpha which drives logical selling behavior. It’s not a rug per se, people just have to stop thinking of them as useful alpha!

Exactly! The coins go down as soon as the notif is sent. Just today I was looking at $horse, it went the same way.

My main issue is that it is impossible to have any context about why it is trending with the current notification. It would be awesome if they linked some casts regarding why is trending.
