The Fox News host who was previously nominated for Surgeon General just got axed for Casey Means

I actually think Means could do a lot of good in this position, although I am cautious about self-serving given her many ties to various private wellness companies and role as founder of Levels 

The advice she dispenses generally boils down to 

Don’t overeat
Eat more fruits and vegetables
Limit alcohol, tobacco, and drugs
Get 7-8 hours of sleep
Exercise
Avoid environmental toxins

Although she regularly promotes TONS of expensive stuff to help you achieve the above, you don’t need expensive stuff to do any of it 

We Americans have this capitalist “believe in magic” problem where we think if we just “buy the ____” it will fix us. My biggest qualm is that she never actually finished training or is licensed to practice at all. 

Or in other words: Never made a clinical decision impacting another persons life as her own responsibility.
