Reading between the lines here, you should be trying to bag a health insurance executive, ladies. May not be the most glamorous kind of sugar daddy but https://www.propublica.org/article/blue-cross-blue-shield-louisiana-insurance-lawsuit-breast-cancer-doctors Ultimately I agree with the court decision here. It is fraudulent for an insurer to approve care they have no plans to pay for. If the insurer feels the care in question is overpriced you don’t let the patient get on the operating table. Let them figure out another way to pay These doctors spent EIGHTEEN YEARS in court seeking this verdict. They were a ripe target for denials as their practice was decidedly bougie (aka excessively nice) and specialized in diep flap breast reconstructions (which insurers hate because they are much more costly than implants) The median cost for an operation at this facility is $165,000. Just reconstruction— no cancer treatment

It’s always women’s health that gets deprioritized. These surgeries help survivors feel whole again, and insurers say it’s ‘too much’? That’s a societal value judgment disguised as cost cutting
