Trying to coach someone into being a poster is really hard Have a new appreciation for talented ghostwriters Most people who say they did it (YouTube, Twitter fame etc) on their own did not If you make the right calls you can get the decks of the people who actually did it

Tried to convince a founder that getting more comfortable posting was one of the highest impact things he could do, to no avail. He didn’t want to leave his cozy group chats Afterwards, I was a ghostwriter for a VC for a year. Fascinating experience

That’s actually a pretty big part of my job - telling founders that they need to be present and teaching them the value of a personal brand. Despite that not that many listen to my advice. Some just want to hide behind their products.

ive found it nearly impossible to get people to go from having no interest in "being online" to becoming active on social, especially when coaching execs.

I agree as somebody who is trying to learn to post more! What are the top tips/advice you’d give?

Interesting! Im definitely feeling bit of a resistance from myself right now like im active trying to post more but I always think that I need to "mature" my thoughts before I proceed with posting, which is such a cognitive dissonance coz there's always room for a more refined, smarter thought. However I would totally say people are coachable when they are 1) with fluid personality/lifestyles, 2) genuinely have good and smart thoughts :)
