there was an article recently on japanese dudes that did the same. but it was tied to economy. they are broke and so commit petty crimes so they cna go to jail b/c they know they will get their pension later in life...

The average life expectancy of Japanese women is quite long, so it may be necessary to think about loneliness from a somewhat younger age. I am in my 40s, and I would like to live in an institution when I reach a certain age😂😂
