Telling your constituents their culture mediocre trash will surely decrease the racism https://x.com/VivekGRamaswamy/status/1872312139945234507

culture is much more mutable character than race, which is not at all, so i’m not following the racism argument unless it’s just a cheeky clap back at vivek? i think this can devolve quickly into culture wars, but there’s a reason asian women on average out earn white males and all other women

Ah the birth of a new copypasta. “Constituents” implies this guy was elected - that’s not the case is it? It’s just the continuation of the western obsession with privatizing everything. Even your government can now be privatized. And we mediocre sheep have to take it because our immigrant parents didn’t love us enough to hire a nanny to teach us French while they were both working 16 hour days.

It's a tired stereotype and a shitty recapitulation of "Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother" discourse. Athletes tend to have better grades, and the best engineers I know are also athletic. https://x.com/HMBrough_/status/1872367724749553816

Anecdotal, but this has largely not been my experience. What I've seen is that Americans tend to be more self-directed and willing to question/bend rules to get stuff done which often provides the je ne sais quoi needed to make stuff happen. On the flip side, I've noticed that foreign workers tend to care more about hierarchy and following the rules as written I'm in Chile visiting family right now and I've noticed that same vibe here too. Customer service is ass because people defer to bureaucracy to justify their inability to help This also goes against what I've heard in terms of US vs European culture, where the prevailing thought is that Americans work harder (apologies to my /europoooooor friends) In conclusion, lol what the fuck is the talking about

Someone tell him Indian culture celebrates salaries not engineering. God I want to punch him in the face. If art paid as much every Indian child would be strapped to a chair with a brush glued to their hand and forced to make slop until their eyes bled. His analysis is how a white person would analyze Indian culture from a far away theoretical perspective. Fuck this clown.
