if someone is banned from a channel they shouldn’t be able to post in it at all 

rn if someone is banned from a channel, they can still cast into it and it will show on your recent feed 

even if you don’t follow them sometimes and other folks you follow interact with the banned person’s content

Farcaster does not believe in bans. I have moved through the stages of grief on this issue and have arrived at acceptance 😂

Take it up with the powers that be. Token gate the corner. Auto mod. Build your own client. Etc etc. I am resigned. Everything you say on here is permanent and bans will never happen

I am not sure of the nuances here, honestly. I just know that blocks and bans are nonstarters. There doesn’t seem to be a belief in their efficacy from a trust/safety perspective and technical challenges from the protocol side

recent feed activated only for a select group of channel followers who then co-curate the main feed? Right now the channel moderator can turn off recent and then only they have access to that feed for moderation. If this can be extended for the channel owner to select more moderators that will be great? 

No recent feed + automod only works if selected moderators are using another app to review recent feed. Like a purpose-build review-your-feed app
