A few years ago I started reading at least one history book for each world country, alphabetically I started with Afghanistan and got to the Bahamas; learned quite a bit and found very interesting books (like The Fatal Shore about Australia) I'm thinking that I should 1) continue 2) review these?

Another if you come to cast If you come to Korea, there are two I can recommend (but forgot their name) - A British guy hiking from South to North (until DMZ) in the 1980s or 90s - Journalists reporting about various incidents in S Korea 60-80s

These are GPT's best guesses: - "To the Last Round: The Epic British Stand on the Imjin River, Korea 1951" by Andrew Salmon - "Korea Witness: 135 Years of War, Crisis and News in the Land of the Morning Calm" by Donald Kirk and Choe Sang-Hun
