getting up at 5am to get work done before bringing the kids to school. a lot of sacrificing sleep and mental wellbeing. Like breastfeeding in the middle of the night while trying to write an article, balancing the laptop on the knees without it fully resting on the baby type of shit

Looking back, what was something you did out of necessity to survive, but now wonder how you were even able to do it?

I run parenting-as-a-service during the school holidays. I suggest you take kid#4. Young, no boyfriend drama, and likes to play football

all things tech. mostly optimistic. consistently guilty of facecrime. corporate slave

Doing the PhD was easy compared to creating a company. It’s just your project. I did it in the Netherlands so money & working conditions were ok. It’s lonely work.

Building a company is a different beast.

Funnily talking with the kids about my work is a strong point. They get to see that work doesn’t mean selling your soul.

Of everything I did pregnancy and child bearing was the easiest.  Should have specialised in that 🤣
