I'm supporting 6 capstone students this year for their master thesis. All are working professionals. I've told all but one to go and use AI to help define their problem statement, understand academic papers etc.

I didn't mention it to one because she felt already overwhelmed with information.

i’m with you. even most of my usage other than coding is to learn. education system needs to integrate AI because there is no going back from here.
